Together for a Prosperous Afghanistan

Afghanistan Rehabilitation Program (ARP) is driven by one clear vision: a prosperous Afghanistan. We work hand in hand with communities to restore hope, rebuild lives, and create sustainable opportunities where they are needed most. Through resilience, compassion, and action, ARP is helping shape a future where every Afghan can thrive.Mi in nulla posuere sollicitudin aliquam ultrices sagittis. Health Services

ARP delivers essential health-related support through clinic rehabilitation, emergency medical assistance, and community health awareness initiatives. The organization has supported vulnerable families during humanitarian emergencies, including internally displaced persons and returnee households. Through direct services and integrated emergency response interventions, ARP has assisted approximately 40,000+ individuals with improved access to healthcare facilities, medical supplies, and nutrition support, prioritizing women and children in high-risk districts.

Education

Education remains a cornerstone of the Afghanistan Rehabilitation Program’s work across Afghanistan. Since 2006, ARP has constructed and rehabilitated multiple schools, implemented community-based education programs, and delivered specialized language and vocational training initiatives. Through formal schooling support, accelerated learning programs, and orphans assistance initiatives, ARP has directly and indirectly supported an estimated 25,000+ students, including a significant number of girls in underserved and conflict-affected areas. The organization continues to advocate for inclusive and equitable access to education, ensuring learning opportunities for vulnerable children and youth across rural and urban communities.

Infrastructure Development

ARP has implemented community-driven infrastructure projects designed to restore essential public services and improve living conditions. These include the construction and rehabilitation of schools, clinics, district offices, municipal facilities, roads, small dams, and community structures. Through these interventions, ARP has improved access to safe learning environments, healthcare facilities, and transportation routes for approximately 150,000+ community members across multiple provinces. All infrastructure projects are executed in close coordination with local communities to ensure sustainability and ownership.

Livelihood Support

ARP promotes economic self-reliance through vocational training, micro-enterprise support, income-generating activities, and cash-based assistance programs. By equipping individuals with practical skills and connecting them to local markets, ARP has empowered approximately 12,000+ individuals, including women and youth, to establish or strengthen small businesses and sustainable livelihoods. These programs contribute directly to poverty reduction and community-level economic stability.

Clean Drinking Water and WASH

Access to clean drinking water and improved sanitation is central to ARP’s resilience and peacebuilding approach. Through community water systems, hygiene promotion campaigns, and the establishment of WASH committees, ARP has provided safe water access and sanitation awareness to an estimated 80,000+ beneficiaries in rural and drought-affected areas. By integrating water management with community conflict resolution mechanisms, ARP contributes not only to public health improvement but also to social cohesion and resource sustainability.

Agriculture and Food Security

Strengthening agricultural productivity and food security remains one of ARP’s most impactful sectors. Through certified seed distribution, orchard development, agroforestry initiatives, poultry programs, and farmer training, ARP has supported over 30,000 farming households, benefiting an estimated 180,000+ individuals. These interventions enhance household income, climate resilience, and sustainable land use practices while protecting rural livelihoods from drought and economic shocks.
